How does our monthly voting and ranking system work? (!)

HotServers ranks servers based on player votes. Players can vote once every 12 hours, and server owners can use our APIs to reward them for voting.

At the beginning of each month, the rankings are reset and all servers start from zero votes. As part of our quality and activity check, servers remain hidden until they receive at least 3 votes. Once a server reaches 3 votes, it becomes visible in the rankings again.

This means that only servers receiving real player activity become visible throughout the month. It allows us to keep the rankings focused on active servers and helps players discover servers with an active community.
